GEICO's development programs recruit graduates from top schools across the country. We consider candidates who have succeeded academically, possess demonstrated leadership skills and aspire to be business leaders.

Emerging Leaders Program – GEICO's highly-selective rotational program offers two separate career tracks, one in operations management and the other in information technology. Our goal is to teach you our business from the ground up, to support your professional development, and to help you become a successful business unit manager or IT lead.

Supervisory Leadership Program – This 12-18 month, fast-track program is designed to develop supervisors in sales, customer service, claims or auto damage, and is offered in select locations.

Since graduating in 2005, I have been a part of GEICO's Emerging Leaders program, working in the Operations Management track.

Since graduating in 2005, I have been a part of GEICO's Emerging Leaders program, working in the Operations Management track.

I chose GEICO because of the opportunities available within our fast-growing company, and the commitment that our management team has to developing hard-working, ambitious talent into successful leaders.

As a part of the Emerging Leaders program, I have rotated through several departments. These experiences give me the opportunity to understand all aspects of GEICO's dynamic business and are preparing me for a management position in the future.

After graduation in 2004, I began my career at GEICO in the Emerging Leaders program.

After graduation in 2004, I began my career at GEICO in the Emerging Leaders program. A typical day for me in the Information Technology track includes leading meetings and projects, working with our JAVA development team, and designing new applications.

The program has offered me opportunities to work on data warehouse migrations, to learn about our mainframe environment, and to assist our Internet team.

In 2004, I chose to start my career with GEICO because of the opportunity for professional development, the outstanding growth of the company, and its reputation for providing great service.

It was important for me to find a company that valued its customers, employees and the community. After finishing my training program, I was promoted to a supervisor in our customer service department.

This leadership position allows me to interact with my team, other departments, and management. Everyday offers a variety of rewarding work and the ability to make a real contribution. Not only am I part of the service team, but I also participate on our United Way and Diversity committees.
